The Lasater Family 1620-2010

The Lasater Family 1620-2010 This book is divided into four sections. The first section is just brief general genealogy information, self explanatory. The second section is the first immigrant and early Leister/Lasater families. This section covers the first ten generations. All of the children are listed for each generation but only my direct ancestors are carried into the next generation. I have a lot of information for the other children, but just not used for this book. There are a lot of sources and notes for the earlier generations. The ten generations are; George, Thomas, Robert, Thomas, William, William, William, William, William, and James. I did not change the misspelled words in this section, they are written just as they were transcribed from the original documents. The third section starts with the 10th generation and stops with the 17th generation of Lasater’s. It follows all of the descendants of James Gatterson Lasater and Minnie Frances Hinesley Lasater. It has a short story about each person where information was available. It has family photos, death records, marriage records, World War I Draft Registration Cards, newspaper articles, maps and other documents. The fourth section is self explanatory also. It has copies of various records of the family, including Revolutionary War records, other military records, wills, land plats, marriages, newspaper articles, gravestones, and other documents. It also lists the source and references information.
